Job Information

The Department of Student Housing is seeking 1-2 IT student workers to assist the IT services office with their daily operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
-    Change out battery packs in the resident hall doors.
-    Maintain battery packs.
-    Assist with troubleshooting and repairing door locks.
-    Assist with troubleshooting and repairing access control wiring and devices.
-    Assist with troubleshooting and repairing video surveillance wiring and devices.
-    Providing general IT support to the Department of Student Housing.
-    Troubleshooting and repairing IT equipment throughout the network of buildings in the Department of Student Housing.

Minimum Qualifications:
-    Must be a currently enrolled full-time student during fall and spring semesters.
-    Must be enrolled in school during time of employment and/or enrolled for a future term.
-    Must have lived on campus in a residence hall for at least a full semester.
-    Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the university.
-    Must be in good standing with the Department of Student Housing.
-    Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
