Position Description

The Department of BioMolecular Sciences in the School of Pharmacy at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a full time, 12-month Lecturer as an on-campus or remote position. The responsibilities of the position are teaching classes in the online graduate program in medical cannabis. The successful candidate will also assist in course development and participate on relevant committees in teaching and course administration. They will be able to collaborate with faculty instructors of courses in medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, toxicology, and pharmaceutics, and regulatory affairs on the University of Mississippi campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Master’s degree with at least two years of experience in medical cannabis, a doctorate in a health profession (Pharm.D., M.D., D.N.P. etc..), or a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.  Applicants with experience in teaching, online instruction, and/or instructional design are encouraged.

 

Substitution Statement:
Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
